Natasha Richardson’s Sister Reacts to Pamela Anderson and Liam Neeson’s Sweet Photos

Pamela Anderson and Liam Neeson’s blossoming relationship—on and off the screen—has been making headlines, and now it’s receiving heartfelt support from those closest to Neeson.

Among the first to publicly endorse the connection is actress Joely Richardson, sister of the late Natasha Richardson, Liam’s wife of 15 years who tragically passed away in 2009. Joely expressed her support with a series of red heart emojis in the comments of Pamela’s recent Instagram post, signaling a warm, approving nod to the potential couple.

Pamela’s post, shared on August 1, featured a carousel of photos with Neeson from their promotional tour for The Naked Gun, a reboot of the classic comedy franchise. She captioned it: “The Naked Gun is finally in theatres.

Bring your friends, family, lovers…whoever…just go and have a laugh…it’s good for you! I’ll see you there.” Fans quickly picked up on the cozy chemistry between the two stars, and Joely’s affectionate response only fueled the ongoing speculation.

While neither Pamela, 58, nor Liam, 73, has confirmed a romantic relationship, their body language and mutual admiration have painted a different picture. At the London premiere on July 22, the pair was seen walking the red carpet in high spirits.

Pamela affectionately placed her hand on Liam’s chest and kissed him on the cheek in front of cameras. A week later, at the New York premiere, the warmth between them was just as evident.

Pamela gushed about her co-star, calling him “kind, sweet, and funny,” and Liam didn’t hesitate to return the compliment, calling Pamela “very silly” and “a great woman.”

Their dynamic didn’t go unnoticed during their July 29 appearance on the Today show. Host Craig Melvin playfully confronted them about the romance rumors, teasing, “You’re both single right now… Are you two an item?”

Pamela laughed it off with a cheeky “I don’t understand the question,” while Liam responded more thoughtfully, describing a “lovely, budding chemistry” that developed between them during filming.

The warmth and familiarity between the two actors appears genuine. Liam, who’s known for his typically reserved demeanor, has spoken glowingly about Pamela in past interviews. Back in October, he told People, “With Pamela, first off, I'm madly in love with her.

She's just terrific to work with. I can't compliment her enough, I'll be honest with you. No huge ego. She just comes in to do the work. She's funny and so easy to work with.”

Whether their closeness is purely platonic or hinting at a deeper relationship remains to be seen, but the public—and now even Liam’s extended family—seems fully on board with the idea.

As fans continue to enjoy their onscreen chemistry in The Naked Gun, the warmth and affection they share off-screen may be the start of something even more special. For now, their shared laughter, mutual respect, and sweet exchanges have captured hearts—and Joely Richardson’s red hearts say it all.
